2 WC policies in use, 1 GL policy in use
In this unique scenario, the bulk renewal needs to be completed according to these non-traditional steps explained below. Put simply, you will move the checkmarks for each WC policy by itself, and then finally renew the GL policy.
1. Renew WC policy 1 (in this example, New York) through step 4. Upon landing on step 5, STOP.
By doing this, you have unassigned the old WC policy and assigned new WC policy. But note, stopping here means you are intentionally not emailing the renewal certificates. You don’t want to email the certificates until you also renew the GL policy in step 3 below.
2. Renew WC policy 2 (in this example, Non-New York) through step 4. Upon landing on step 5, STOP.
By doing this, you have unassigned the old WC policy and assigned new WC policy. But note, stopping here means you are intentionally not emailing the renewal certificates. You don’t want to email the certificates until you also renew the GL policy in step 3 below.
3. Because the GL Policy is assigned to ALL contracts, both New York and Non-New York, next renew GL policy. Complete all steps of the bulk renewal, which includes emailing out the renewal certificates to ALL contractors. In this case that means all contractors, no matter if they are New York and Non-New York.
